A long-term member of the Property Council, Mainbrace will act as Principal Retail Sponsor for the next 12 months.
Leading retail construction company Mainbrace has been unveiled as the Property Council of Australia’s New South Wales Retail Partner for the next 12 months.
As the Retail Partner, Mainbrace will be the principal sponsor of all retail-related Property Council events and initiatives in NSW.
Established in 1989, Mainbrace has completed over 1,300 projects, from supermarket upgrades, bulky goods rollouts, national rebrands and refurbishments, to the construction of major retail infrastructure on greenfield sites. The company’s projects range from $100,000 to over $200 million in value.
As it prepares to celebrate its 30th birthday next year, the company is progressing its expansion plans not only in NSW, but also in Queensland and Victoria.
Mainbrace Managing Director Rob Doust says the company is proud to formalise its commitment to the Property Council, of which it has been a long-term member.
“Mainbrace is in the midst of one of the busiest periods in our history, with a healthy order book and further growth forecast. This is the ideal time to reinforce our profile and reputation among the retail sector’s key influencers and stakeholders through a strong association with the Property Council,” Mr Doust says.
“As a business, we’ve made the decision to focus on retail as this is where our core expertise lies. Our portfolio of new shopping centre builds, redevelopments, supermarket refurbishments and interior repurposing projects is growing and we’re proud to work with some of Australia’s best-known retail operators and brands,” he says.
Mainbrace recently completed the $200 million Narellan Town Centre - one of the largest retail projects in Greater Sydney - and is currently undertaking the $120 million redevelopment of the David Jones flagship store in Sydney CBD. The retail construction specialist says it is on track to deliver another 10 projects before the end of the financial year.
